My eldest has a big day today --four games in a college recruiting showcase. DH is out of town (two of the games were supposed to be yesterday when Mike was here but the fields were too wet). So, it's just me, the baby, the college coaches and a boy who thinks his whole life is hanging in the balance today. Fortunately, it's an hour away--time enough for almost twenty decades!
Please pray for grace enough to know and do His will.

Apparently, it's God's will that these coaches see Michael "in context." The other kids were all set to spend the day with Karoline's Godmother and her family. But Gracie (their little girl, who spends her weekdays at my house) has the flu   . So...all the siblings are coming with me to cheer him on. If nothing else, makes a good case for financial aid and speaks to his leadership, huh?

I think it's a good thing, Elizabeth, for just the reasons you state. Anyone who can gracefully be the oldest of 8 can lead a soccer team.

Elizabeht - I will pray for sure. Our oldest is being scouted pretty heavily this year in hockey so I know how it goes. Many prayers for peace for you and your son today.
