I ask for prayers for my friend, Eileen. She is a very active member of our parish and has been like a mother to me (my own mother lives far from our family).
She has been sick since before Easter, and was making a recovery when she had a set back. I learned that she was life flighted to OKC yesterday, but I have no other details. Please keep her in your prayers.

I spoke with Eileen's husband this evening. She was sent to OKC in an ambulance (which was not great for her back problems) because of chest pains. They ran some tests and determined that her situation is not a heart problem. This is a big relief for them. The doctors think that it is due to acid reflux and the stress related to that.
However, Eileen is really worn down. She has been fighting this stomach/back situation since before Easter. Her children do not live close, and she is hesitant to accept help from others.
I ask for continued prayers for her recovery. She really is an angel.
