Hi,
Thank you--this will be a really quick intention (I hope)...we were supposed to have Umbilical Hernia surgery on our 2 yo dd sometime this fall and we just got word that our deductible goes from $500 to $1000 on Nov. 1. We are hoping the surgeon can get the surgery pre-approved and done by 10/31. Your prayers will be a blessing today!

We will get a consultation on Tuesday, and the lady on the phone said the surgeon would do the surgery on Friday!! Yeah! Can you believe we are now going to have a $1000 deductible on a policy that is costing my dh and his employer several $$ per month? It's a very small company so we are very lucky to have insurance.

Several $$ per month...yeah I wish. I meant to say several $100  !
Maria, Janette, Angie, Robynn and all....thank you! It's always harrowing to put a sweet little 2 year old through surgery...of course you all know that.

Gwen,
We will pray for your two year old, her caregivers at the hospital and that your entire family will have peace this Friday.
I can identify with your situation. When our 4yos was not yet two, he had surgery,too. Thank you, God that this surgery was able to be scheduled before your deductible increases.

Praying for a safe, successful surgery and an easy, pain-free recovery.
That is terrible about the insurance! It seems they are all charging more and more and covering less and less. 
Our deductible this year is going from $300 per person/$600 per family to $1500 per person/$3000 for the family but my husband's company is going to contribute the first $1500 and we have a flexible spending account to which we contribute $4000 per year for medical expenses. We put $77 per week into the flex account and we are paying $50 per week for medical coverage along with what the company contributes each week. It is crazy.  Well, it could be worse, at least we have coverage.

Just popping in to say Thank You for the prayers. Everything went perfectly and I managed to stay in one piece to be there for her when she woke up  . Of course she's in pain and still groggy so I'm sure your prayers tonight will continue to shower us with God's grace. I'll be praying throughout the night for all of your intentions. Thanks again.
