I have an ultrasound appointment today. When I spotted all through my cycle last month, I decided to take a pregnancy test. I was thankful to find it positive. However, I have not stopped spotting  . My midwife determined that my blood counts are high enough to request an ultrasound.
After a loss earlier this year, I am finding so difficult to be hopeful about this, especially with the spotting. Only our older two children know at this time and they will be with us today.
My appointment is at 3pm. I would be so grateful if any of you could remember our family during your Divine Mercy prayer today.

Thank you all so much for your prayers! The ultrasound measurements revealed that I am 5 weeks 6days. The technician could see the heartbeat  , but it was not audible yet.
I find the dating a little strange. My last cycle was 9/1 .
I still beg for your prayers, though. Since the appt. my spotting increased a bit. I am trying to remain hopeful by attributing that to the v. ultrasound. (I have always spotted after any sort of ob appt..). I will speak to my midwife on Monday.
I am sorry for the late reply. My husband went home with our children after the appointment and I went on to work my p/t job that I work a couple of nights each week. Then I needed to stop at the market on the way home (which is so easy to do without 5 children in tow.) So I am just getting in now  and we have an early day tomorrow  . Off to bed!
