As some of you may know I design and maintain websites. Part of the service I provide deals with email and guestbooks. Due to a high volume of spam in conventional guestbooks I am now posting them manually via forms.
One of the websites is Mother's Grieving Heart. Last night I received a message from this site that has me extremely worried for this woman.
I am going to quote some of her message here, her name is Diane.
Diane wrote:
I lost my son, Jonathan, age 25 years, 13 ½ months ago from a brain hemmorage - I cannot go on. I've been told through friends, reading, Compassionate Friends, etc., to take care of myself. That would be okay if I wanted to - but I don't. I've skipped blood pressure pills, eat very unhealthy in hopes that it will speed my death and just short of commiting suicide. I do have another, son and I only go on because of him. I fear horribly that God will take him too. I just want to go be with Jonathan and get out of this miserable, ugly world - it would be such peace.
I feel that if I can only breathe for a second - but then I don't want that second. I thought maybe this would ease somewhat but it seems to just get worse. I have gone for grief counseling but to no avail. I'm still angry at God but don't want to be - it just somehow won't stop.
I don't know what to do, how to want to go on because I pray every night for that next day to be my last but here I am. I feel guilty because I know I should feel that I'm here for a reason and that may be to help another mother but that makes no difference to me.
I tried medication - no help. I'm so exhausted living. |

Please, please lift this woman up in prayer. I don't know who she is other than her name but she is really hurting and I am worried for her and her other son.
I have passed the message on to Maria and I can only hope she can help her during this most difficult time.

Sometimes just getting up in the morning to face the day requires a heroic struggle. Praying this mother finds the strength to carry on.
