Hello everyone...this is Cindy's husband Chris. She asked me to post an update on her situation. Cindy was readmitted to the hospital yesterday after another flare-up of the stone in her left kidney. After running some tests, the urologist recommended that a stent be placed in her kidney so we can avoid episodes like this for the remainder of the pregnancy. After the baby is born, they will perform another procedure to break up the stone.
Good news is that the baby is totally fine and healthy, and Cindy is feeling much better after getting some good pain medication.
Cindy will undergo the stent placement procedure at 10:30 this morning. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

Cindy here - sort of  Thank you for all of your prayers. I got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. The insertion of the stent went perfectly well from a medical perspective according to my urologist (BTW - one shouldn't have a urologist at 35!). They actually couldn't give me all the anesthesia that they normally do, because one of the drugs would be harmful to the baby, so I was the most awake patient any of them had ever seen. I vaguely recall even making a joke about them emptying my bladder and everyone in the room laughing. 
I didn't feel so much like laughing last night, however. The pain got stronger than it had been , but not as bad as it was when I went into the hospital Thursday morning. It's much more controlled now, but still not comfortable. Please pray that the pain subsides for the next 80 days, and that my little man inside didn't suffer any from the drama his mommy just underwent. Thank you so much for keeping me in your prayers - I could definitely feel you lifting me up.
