Good afternoon!
I think we should all take a moment, or two, and say some prayers for the families of 9-11 and all of the soldiers fighting for us today. You all have probably already done so, but I didn't see any posts regarding 9-11, that was surprising to me.
My husband is a paramedic/firefighter and a soldier. I can't even imagine losing him in that way.
Prayers for all the families...
God Bless,
Angela

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them, may their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
And may our Lord protect those who continue to fight for freedom for our lands today. We immerse them in your precious blood...

It's been a day of reflection and prayer for me. We started the day with Mass, to offer for their souls and their families.

My aunt-in-law lost a niece 5 years ago at the towers. They never found her and her parents almost went crazy having to deal with the loss. This is an especially tough day for them. Joining my prayers with all of yours.

Praying for all those who lost their lives that day, their families, and all those who serve in the name of freedom and safety.
Blessings,

We started the day with Mass, too, for the souls of all who perished and their families.
I was also fortunate enough to hear Theresa Tomeo's interview with Dena Burnett, wife of the late Tom Burnett, who was proactive on Flight 93 not penetrating to WA, DC.
We also hung our flag today in remembrance of those involved in 9/11 and also for those who's lives serve our country daily.
We appreciate your dh's work, Angela, and all who serve.

This is interesting, Angela. I'm wondering if sometimes the need for prayer is so big that the prayer request forum gets quiet because we're in prayer. Also, I love your post and think that you were the perfect person to start this prayer request.
In addition to family discussion and prayer about 9-11, here's something a bit different that we consider a public prayer... Dh took the boys and two of their friends to the Arizona Diamondbacks game tonight. On their own, the boys made and brought a sign to the game. Sure enough, the kids and their poster made the pre-game show here. The sign read..."God bless America and the Diamondbacks."
We will pray. We will never forget.
Love,

We will always pray and never forgot those who died. I can't imagine the pain of the families who lost loved ones.
Please thank your husband for serving so many in his career. I have always prayed since I was a little girl whenever I hear/heard a siren.
Love and prayers,
Marybeth
