Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your prayers. My daughter, Julia, typed the original message.

My DH has a kidney stone.    They finally sent us home but it is now nearly 3AM.

He was in a LOT of pain , he was making me hurt it was so bad. I felt like I was in labor and I am not even pregnant.

Anyway, he is feeling much better right now, hopefully it will pass very soon without much more discomfort. Your continued prayers for that would also be appreciated.

Well, we are back again.

The doctor gave him some pain meds and they have a CT set up for tomorrow. Unfortunately there really isn't much they can do, he just has to pass it/them.

It is kinda like being in labor. He has all the pain, the wondering how much longer, and trying to fit something much too large through a very small opening but without the expectation of a wonderful new baby to look forward too.

Stones are SO painful. My dad, Mr. Stoic I can take pain, was immobilized and weeping...wow is THAT unnerving! Praying, Krisann. Give Julia a hug for being such a good poster .

Please keep Cris in your prayers. It may not be life and death but he is in severe pain.      He even called his mother to ask her to pray for him (which is a minor miracle ).

They have given him stronger medicine which dulls but does not relieve the pain, however it wears off after less than 4 hours.   

They decided not to do the CT for some reason. Right now they just want him to try to pass it/them on his own. He is understandably frustrated and we are all very tired.

Anyway, thank you for your prayers. They are truly appreciated.
