This is almost selfish, but I need to ask for prayer for me-I really need to work on the virtues of charity and kindness. I haven't been outwardly mean and unkind to anyone, but I am filled with uncharitable and unkind thoughts-mostly about one specific person. It's just eating me up inside-really-to the point of nausea and heartburn.

Praying for you Jennifer. I understand and will offer my struggles to be outwardly and inwardly kind and charitable for you today.

The one thing that has helped me the most is to pray fervently for whatever person is causing me the trouble - offering my suffering up for him/her anytime they come to mind, and just kind of "lifting them up to God" in my mind. It's amazing how that can change my feelings over time!

I am praying for you. From what I know of you, you will rise far above these feelings. You are such a kind and generous soul. We all have our moments of less than ideal feelings. But just recognizing it really puts you in a place so far above society in general where everyone has something unkind to say. God bless you for your honesty and desire to change.

Praying for you Jennifer...start small with little kindnesses when you don't feel like it...it will turn into a habit over time...think of it as building a very strong foundation one brick at a time....I struggle with this when I feel like my needs have not been met, when I don't eat right, when I don't get all the sleep I need and when I haven't been praying enough. It is usually ALL of those things for me (at the same time!) I will keep you covered in prayer...prayer support is on the way!!
