You perserveringly pursued your wayward son

Intercede for all mothers in our day
So that they may learn

The Memorare, along with the prayer to St. Michael:
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
These are both memory work for all of us (yes, even me  ). Thank you, Leonie, for reminding us that our teens and even pre-teens need our prayers.

You couldn't have timed your bumping any better. My two oldest could use extra prayers for various reasons. Thank you so much for your vigiliant concern of all our teenagers.

Yes, mine could use these prayers most assuredly as well. And I'm going off to our weekly Sunday evening visit with our huge extended family where boatloads of tweens and teens roam. Well, that's only a tiny bit of hyperbole!
I ask St. Monica and St. Augustine to pray for me, and our tweens/teens every single day. I'm so grateful they go before me in prayer, and by their beautiful example. Thanks so much for these prayers for the ones who need to be loved when some days it's so hard to like them. I hope this isn't OT here, but do you find your tweens [ETA *and* teens] having to deal with tween/teen cousins that do *not* dress modestly, who talk just plain wierd, who roll their eyes at their parents ... ? How do you field their questions and concerns?
