My oldest just turned 21 last month. She was married last year and has two precious babies. Noah is 22 mos and Sophia is 8 1/2 mos old. Her dh has not been successful in holding down a full time job. I suspected depression issues this past year. They lived with his mom then us when Sophia was born. I discovered substance abuse and then physical abuse. I had him leave my home immediately. He hasn't been able to or willing to? get his act together and provide much more than grief for my dd. My dd has begun working full time and lives with her mil. Dd was working with a Billingsly instructor to avoid another pregnancy right now as she and her dh are trying to get through this. (He lived there temporarily off and on attempting and rejecting help.) Sophia's nursing was very spuratic and she was weaning her and her cycles were difficult to interpret. Well, God has other plans and she is expecting again. My dd was going to a Divine Mercy prayer group for a while, but moved 40 more minutes away and can't attend now. She is struggling with doing what is best and surviving. She is getting a crash course in mothering, working, finances, etc with out her dh support. They were always a team taking care of the dc. It breaks my heart that I can't do more for her physically right now. ( That's a separate prayer request) She fears her mil would suggest abortion and at work today she could tell a few woman questioned toward that. They guessed as she has been munching all day and nauseous.
Anyway...my sil is beginning his two week stay in a mental health/ substance abuse center today. Please pray he will receive the treatment and guidance he needs as well as him really trying this time to follow through. The good thing is he can not leave after he signed in and he will be away from his "buddy", here. I pray his knowing that God has blessed him with another dc will give him that extra push instead of have him run more.
The awesome prayers of this forum has allowed me to share this sad personal account. 
But there is a blessing tucked in there, too. The first thing I reminded my dd was that all dc are blessings and God has a plan

Tammy,
I am praying for your daughter, your son in law and your grandbabies. They certainly are going through some very challenging times. Despite all of the struggles, God has blessed them with another baby!
Mother Mary and Saint Joseph, please intercede on behalf of this family.

Tammy, I'm sorry that your daughter is going through this tough time. Drug addiction is such a cross. But, God can bring goodness out of all, and that's what this new little life is. I will pray for strength for your daughter, and a release from the chains of addition for your son-in-law.

Jenn,
My c-section is scheduled for the 13th w/ Dr.B at Fair Oaks. I was trying to get a different date but the Dr was available that day. It hit me a few nights later...that of course lil Jacinta would love her birthday to be on the 13th
