I would like to ask for prayers for my sweet friend as she prepares to be married this weekend. For reasons I will not elaborate on, she is unable to be married in the church, but will have her marriage blessed in a short time.

Some acquaintances have said very harsh and judgmental things that have hurt her so very deeply--and these people are operating on absolutely no factual information to make these assumptions. It has caused irreversible damage to these relationships.

Could you please pray for her, her husband to be, her children, family, and all these "well meaning" people-- that they could ask for the gifts of wisdom and charity when coming in contact with her, especially this week? It is difficult enough for her at present without the added burden of these persons' lack of tact and charity towards her.

Thank you for your prayers. She is a convert to the faith, and I'm ashamed that she's being treated this way.
