I seem to be here asking for prayers so often lately ... Well, my fil is recovering, my dad is still awaiting test results, and now it's my dh who could use some prayers. He has had a tough time lately with terrible pain and stiffness in his joints. He is slated for a bunch of tests including a cat scan next week. They want to rule out rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and I don't know what else. He may also have a hernia so there will be a test for that. Ironically he has always been in great shape and health (turns 40 next month), but this is very worrying to say the least. I am a worrier by nature so I am on overload with this. Please keep Bill in your prayers. Thanks.

Dawn,
Your dh is in my prayers.
Has his thyroid level been checked? My dh turned 40 last year and was having hurting and stiffness in his joints. And he was tired a lot. They ran tests and did a cat scan also.
His thyroid had gone out on him. 
The day they put him on synthroid he was back to his normal self. No hurt, no stiffness, and could climb Mt. Everest. 
Seriously, I know the worry only too well. I'll remember him in my prayers tonight and tomorrow during adoration. Keep us informed.

I just want to thank you all *so much* for your prayers. They have been such a comfort to me these past few days. I keep coming back and reading this thread to relieve my mind and soothe my nerves. 
His first test (the cat scan) is tomorrow afternoon, so I'll keep you all posted.
