After surgery for ovarian cancer recurrance, it was unclear whether or not Jennifer would need chemo. Well, she definitely will.

I rec'd the following info from Jen this morning:

"looks like we will be doing ip (inter peritoneal) chemo. i will probably go in either next week or the week after for the abdominal port-a-cath to be surgically placed (outpatient). and then chemo will probably start a week afterwards. the schedule is 21 days, so on day 1 and day 8 i'll get chemo both intravenously and into the abdominal cavity and then this will be repeated every 21 days so i'll have about 2 weeks to rest up for the next go around. it will be a total of 6 cycles, so if there are no delays due to infection, bone marrow problems, low counts, etc, i should be done around the holidays. i will get all chemo in the infusion room and not have to be hospitalized unless i just get real sick. i'm ready to go!"

Oh, God Bless her! We will keep praying for Jennifer ~ for her full recovery as well as minimal discomfort during her treatment.
