Please pray for my beloved aunt. She has cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities, mental health issues, osteoarthritis and stress fractures. Now she is losing weight for no apparent reason. "Easy" diagnostics have not revealed a cause. As you might imagine, the more difficult diagnostic procedures are nearly impossible for someone with her health issues.

My parents (her official guardians) ask for your prayers for her as everyone involved with her care tries to discern next steps. It's a difficult task. Upper and lower GI diagnostic procedures (and the prep for them) are tough enough for a person who does not have disabilities, but for her...it's like asking me to ascend Everest. Without oxygen.

Thanks in advance for your prayers. We need them. All obvious measures/potential causes have been examined and tried, and there are no answers. From here, it's a tightrope walk. I know my parents will feel the power of your prayers - they have in the past, and they know you will pray now - and I am thankful for any prayers you have time to say for my sweet aunt. She taught me to see people with disabilities as individual human beings, people who can write, create, think, ponder, love and so much more. (She taught me that people with disabilities can whomp you at checkers and double solitaire, too!) I am praying that someone can figure out what is going on without having to resort to painful, distressing tests.

Thank you for your prayers. They sustain my family in the most amazing ways. My mom, in particular, relies on your prayers to get her through difficult times, and this is one of those times.

Praying for all of them. I'm sure this is so hard for all involved. Praying especially for caring and sensitive healthcare personnel.
