I'm not in the habit of being vulnerable at any time but I feel the need to do so now. I have been feeling rather ~blah & uninspired~ lately. I have had a lot of unwanted stress the past 3 years. A LOT. It has been worse this past year though. Most times I feel content but it comes & goes along with feeling . I suffer from anxiety/panic disorder & use herbal medicine to treat it. It helps along with my healthy eating/workout/yoga plans. BUT...I still suffer. I have an app across the board on all my devices called Holy Bible. (You Version if anyone is interested) I have a reading plan that I'm following & that helps somewhat. I used to get fired up over my interests & things but lately not so much. I don't like meds from dr.s. I don't utilize them for personal reasons. I don't enjoy speaking with anyone else so because I'm a member I thought I'd post this here. I also feel paranoid about someone knowing me online & that's why I'm so private & cryptic. It's like I can't really say HOW I feel in case someone recognizes me. Weird I know. Any advice?

Praying for your peace of mind- asking God to take away your feelings of panic and anxiety (which never come from Him) and replace them with trust and peace.
Jesus, I trust in you!

Praying. It seems you are already doing the things (diet, exercise, etc.) that I would think of doing, perhaps some additional vitamin supplementation (I'm thinking b vitamins and vitamin d) would help since you have been under so much stress? I know that prolonged stress can take some time to recover from.

Praying for you with much empathy. I echo the suggestion of B vitamins and Vit. D, and would also suggest a natural supplement, kava, which I've used with good success for anxiety. You are not alone.

Can you make a retreat?
Or a day out in nature by yourself?
Adoration by yourself?
Even though I am outgoing, I am really an introvert, and get overwhelmed and stressed easily...and hold it in. Going out in nature somewhere with a Rosary, or just to sit and talk to God REALLY helps. If not, head to the nearest Church for Adoration.
I am sorry you are going through this. Bridget

I should've mentioned this has been going on for YEARS. The anxiety/panic started when I was a child...never got resolved & spiraled into adulthood. I've tried a lot of things for my insomnia. Melatonin makes me tired to fall asleep but I still wake up every hour. Been like this since a young child as well.

Anxiety is so hard. I will pray for you. How is it specifically affecting your life? Sometimes that is helpful to pinpoint. Mine had mostly to do with my children. It got so bad, i had to resort to medication but that helped to calm my brain down so i could think well. I too didnt want to use meds but ended up going that route because the natural approach wasnt enough. I was quite humbled. I hope you find something that works.
