I would deeply appreciate prayers for:
Pilgrim and her family as they travel the long trip home after visiting us for several days. For safety on the road and for everyone's health, particularly Pilgrim, her dh, their oldest dd and teething baby.
For our oldest son, who recently had an ultrasound done of nodules on his thyroid and will be having them biopsied on Oct. 7th. He and his wife are struggling with several major crises involving relational issues, wounds from their past, serious financial problems, addiction and health issues, along with concerns over how they will manage if ds is facing cancer and cannot work. They also need prayers for the well-being of their 3 children in the midst of all their struggles.
I would appreciate prayers for wisdom and discernment regarding our level of involvement in assisting ds and his family and prayers for grace and strength if the Lord calls us to help with or care for their children in a more in-depth way, as well as grace to care for the needs and concerns of other family members, including three sons still living at home and mil whose health has been fragile ever since she suffered a stroke almost 3 years ago.
I would deeply appreciate prayers for upcoming removal of several lower teeth on Sept. 30 (I had all my upper teeth removed in July), and for healing and fit of my final denture and partial to go well. I would also appreciate prayers for recurrent episodes of shingles, which hit hard whenever I undergo stress; I've experienced frequent back-to-back episodes over the past several months.
Keeping the prayer concerns of everyone on 4Real, along with all the intentions you hold dear in your hearts, in my daily prayers! May the Lord bless each and every soul who comes here seeking prayer support and encouragement!

Thank you for any prayers for safe travels. We had a close call that I know was averted by the grace of God and prayers.
