Friends, my sweet husband had a total knee replacement yesterday. Initially everything went well. His pain has been so horrific since he came out of surgery yesterday, that everyone has been like, " Geez, it's usually bad but not this bad."
Please, pray for good pain management, for God's Wisdom to inspire the doctors to manage this situation. I have never seen him act like this and my anxiety is very high. Thank you!

8/12 update: We are home! My husband came home yesterday and it’s been non-stop between managing his meds and exercises, but thanks be to GOD we are doing it at HOME! He’s on a good pain med regime, and I think it’s all going to be ok.
Thanks so much for your prayers and kindness....I could definitely feel the prayers!

Praying! So sorry you are both going through this, it's really hard to watch a loved one in such terrible pain! Maybe when the pain is a little lessened to where meditation and offering up the pain is possible, thinking on Jesus' falls to His knees on the Way of the Cross would help give a focal point for the pain. Praying to Our Lord for pain relief and many graces as you guys bear the difficulties and pain involved during the weeks ahead!
