Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Update:

Just thought some might like to know and because I am so thankful for your prayers...       We had our 12wk ultrasound today, they found two healthy babies kicking away towards each other, two amniotic sacs and one shared placenta. So it's looking like identical twins who seem pretty healthy and growing great!

Thank you so much for praying!

...................................
We recently (February 14th) discovered at a routine 7wk ultrasound that we have two little ones on the way. So far they seem to be sharing an amniotic sac, but they have two yolk sacs, so she felt it was likely they would have their own placentas. I would so appreciate if you would join us in prayer. We lost a little one to miscarriage in October and it's hard not to worry, but really trying daily to keep trusting.

Thank you so much for praying for us!

Dear Rebecca,

Congratulations. I am praying for you.

I have (now 14 years old - healthy, happy guys) mono mono - single sac single placenta twins. They always pray for mamas of twins. If it turns out you do have single sac babies, please pm me - not many of us "momo" moms!

Hi Marilyn, at present we know they share a chorionic sac, she said it looks like they share an amniotic sac for now. But the good news is there are two yolk sacs. A friend who is a sonographer in Australia told me that two yolk sacs and sharing an amniotic sac is unheard of. She feels it's favourable that they will have their own placentas. Hope so!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a pic of our ultrasound but they appear to be in the same sac. Really hoping at our next u/s to see a membrane in between.

I will keep praying Rebecca. We had a 7 week sonogram too (still have the 'two little kidney beans' sonogram pic) and they kept looking for the membrane until about 14 weeks and then confirmed mono mono. Make sure you have a pro-life doctor if possible, and a really good perinatologist. We struggled to find a doctor who would agree to take us (and we had to fight with insurance a lot) - and I am eternally grateful to the perinatologist who did - even though he was not religious, he saw us as a great "experiment" and he was really a good and kind. doctor. My guys made it to just about 31 weeks which is really good for mono monos.

I want to post a beautiful picture I have of Madonna with Twins - but I don't know how to add a picture. I think it is just lovely for mamas of twins.

If someone can tell me how to post a picture I would be happy to do it.

Because we are in Canada, no insurance struggles. And not sure if there are ProLife Doctors here but I can call the Crisis Pregnancy Center to see what they say. I did this a few years back, and the Dr giving me the hard time was ProLife, he just didn't think anyone should have more than 2 children!

I would love to see the picture. I used a photobucket account to post mine. But maybe I could give you my email address?

Also see if they will check your progesterone levels as well--if you look on the left side of this bar (link below)you can find a pro-life doctor in canada(a 'real one' unlike the one you must have encountered) who can tell you where your progesterone levels should be for twins. http://www.fertilitycare.org/

God Bless.
