Please pray for my friend Gail. She's a long-time friend of my mother-in-law, and she's taken a huge interest in our family over the years. Gail was taken to the hospital yesterday and is showing signs of severe gastrointestinal bleeding. There are other medical issues, too, and the entire situation is very worrisome.
I know Gail will appreciate your prayers, and my mother-in-law will, too. Thanks in advance.
Update Feb. 13:
Gail passed away this afternoon. There were just too many complications related to her chronic health issues. It's very sad, because she leaves behind a husband, age 90, who can no longer care for himself, as well as her own daughter, her husband's sons and three cats that now need homes ASAP.
Please pray for her soul and for all the family members and friends who are trying to cope with an enormous clean-out task, cat care and family issues right now.
I will always remember Gail as a sunny, cheerful person who was ready to welcome anyone and everyone into her home. When my sister-in-law died suddenly, Gail adopted her cat - a gesture of love, but one of enormous significance for my nieces, for which I will always be grateful.
Thank you so much for your prayers. I know Our Lord heard them, and in His wisdom He called Gail home to Him.
If I might beg a few more prayers...Gail's husband is 90 and unable to live alone; please, please pray for him at this very sad time. He needs love, support and family members' presence...if you wouldn't mind saying a prayer or two for his sons, I would be most grateful.

Gail passed away today; thank you so much for your prayers, concern and love for someone you have never met.
