PLease pray for a friend of my ds who is in the pediatric ICU with severe pneumonia. He's a pretty strapping young boy, but he is struggling. Last night was very rough.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, please help your child, who needs you now more than ever.

Jesus, I trust in you.

UPDATE 12/9... thank you all so much for praying Saturday night was the worst, but he is finally on the mend. His parents are vastly relieved. He had the H1N1 flu virus

Oh, that's so hard. My younger son had relatively mild pneumonia last winter, and it was horrible and painful. How much worse must this boy have felt, and how much more worried his parents must have been. I'm so glad to know that things are looking up. Praying for continued healing, and rest for everyone involved.
