I am asking for prayers for my best friend. She has had a year that would weaken even the strongest in faith. Almost one year ago, her husband committed suicide. This was after her discovering that he was doing terrible things to her child from a previous relationship. As you can imagine this family was practically destroyed. She jumped into a new relationship far to quickly (as damaged people often do) and now is moving back home. She has found out that the new guy has stolen from her and is having to file charges. It's a GIANT mess.

I just don't even know what to pray right now. I'm too close to it all. I pretty much want to slap him (the new ex)...and her sometimes. I know that is not a very charitable Christian attitude to have. I love her and can't stand to see her creating all this drama for her children.

I guess pray for me as well, that I can be a forgiving and loving friend. For her, that she will have the strength to make it through this and that she can focus only on God and her children until they truly heal.
