Please pray for J and her 9 children. Her husband, their father, has walked out on the family. He has left them not just physically, but has left them with no financial aid. Her parents (who are unemployed) and a few local friends, and some local agencies as well, are helping as best they can. Matters won't be decided in court for several weeks.
J has asked for prayers for justice for her children. Her husband has been extremely unkind and mean spirited to her, and unfortunately the children have seen, heard and felt his cruelty. So please pray that he will show his children mercy and will not leave them without food, utilities, and shelter. She said she lives hour to hour and is trying so very hard to keep things as normal as possible In an absolutely horrible situation. She is so understandably sad as well as angry.

Praying for their entire family! Jesus, Divine Mercy, watch over and send the aid this courageous mother and her precious children need, and heal their hearts, and help the husband/father to heal whatever is going on in his soul! It's so heartbreaking to see such sadness.

Update:
Thanks so much for the prayers, please keep them coming. My friend was told yesterday by him that he is closing on a small house very soon so the children can come visit him there. He still has not given her anymore money and she is reaching out to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at church and other agencies now. The children are most obviously confused and conflicted about being with him.
He was the fun dad. The dad that other children loved to be around, were excited when they found out he was driving, or he'd be there...he was cool. This has shocked so many families. What should be a stable solid foundation can be broken by just one person. Please pray for all marriages!!!! This mom is so devastated, these children are still so small and innocent.

I wanted to send an update. This mom and her husband had a really really rough fall and Christmas. There has been so much pain and anger. However, a priest has counseled them to make it work and her husband is now back in the house. So far, they are working together.
Please pray for this couple's reconciliation, for their children's sake and for their own. Also, please pray for their immediate family members who may not be totally on board with this reconciliation, yet. Thank you.
