I've complained on this forum before about how my DH was scared to have me quit and it turns out I'm a big hypocrite because now I'm finding that it's my turn to be afraid. I've started the process of interviewing for a new job that would allow me to work from home. Although since I would be working full time, DD would still have to go to school and extended care. The benefit would be that I'd be much closer to her during the day so would be able to spend more time with her.

Can you pray that we make the right decision, whatever that is?

It is a real fear. I took the plunge 10 years ago. We struggle all the time. But I would not give this up for the world. I would rather struggle with less, much less as the case is, and be home all the time to love my children. No one can love them like a mother.
Yet, I completely understand your very valid fears.
Trust me I really, really do.
I will pray for your guidance.
