Just when we were growing discouraged at all the doors once again closing on our search for an acreage, a window was thrown wide open! We have a purchase agreement on 10 acres that is less than 10 minutes from our current home! House and outbuildings are in great shape, and it is almost entirely pasture, which is what we hoped to find but is difficult to find in this land of crops.
Please pray that inspections go well, that closing is uneventful, and that we handle the actual move with kindness and charity! 
Please also pray for our efforts to sell our current home to be successful. We are attempting to sell it on our own right now so we can have control over showing it as our schedule is crazy enough without having to evacuate on the whims of real estate agents.  In our experience, they do not take 24 hour notice seriously in this area.
Prayers for my sanity and dh's as we purge, clean, and otherwise prepare for this exciting, but stressful, change are also welcome!!!

Update 6/7
Your prayers work fast! We received word that the home inspection was complete on Wednesday, and nothing was found to hamper the purchase process!! Thank you, God! There are some minor updates to electrical that we already knew would need to be done eventually, but no surprises. 
Now we await the appraisal, the last hurdle that could impede the process, with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
We received an inquiry on our home, but they have not returned our calls since their first call, so it will likely not turn out to be anything.
Thank you again for the prayers. I am amazingly calm about this whole thing, and that is definitely by the grace of God!

Update 8/8
Everything is set to close tomorrow morning on our acreage! We have already been able to go in and start doing little things like painting and tearing out shag carpet (the floors underneath are beautiful!). We will take possession at the end of the month.
Please continue to pray for our current home to sell. It has been on the market two months, and we've only shown it twice though we've gone through about 80 flyers just in the box out in the yard and the online listing has been viewed hundreds of times. DH is beginning to contemplate renting, and I just really feel like that is a bad idea, that we need to sell. There is someone at dh's work who has been asking about it, and I am trying not to set too much hope on these repeated inquiries (they have not asked for a showing yet), but it would be such a blessing if the interest turned into a sale!
