Rose's birth parents signed relinquishment papers today. My heart aches for them, but we are very relieved. I don't know the timeline except that they are 30-day papers and it will proceed through the courts after that. I will keep you posted. Happy day!

Praise God! I know firsthand the anxiety the 30 wait can bring, as we're waiting for the 30 days with our step-parent adoption we just completed. We will definitely keep you guys, (and her parents, too! Giving up a child for adoption must be one of the hardest things to do, unless a person is totally unattached and dead to it emotionally.) in our prayers. May God and Our Lady hold you close! Thank you again for the pictures you posted, that was a priceless treat to see you all, but especially the precious little(adorable!) girl we've all been praying for!

Oh, what a bittersweet day! So very happy for your family and Rose, so heavy of heart for the birth parents! May their generosity to their daughter only bring them blessings, and may the rest of the adoption process go smoothly.
Congratulations on having passed this hurdle in the process!
