Our dance studio director's dad, Mike, is having open heart surgery tomorrow morning (Wednesday). Please pray for him and for his medical team!

Mike is well known for his contributions to the Irish traditional music community in the northeastern U. S. He's taken a kindly interest in Dancing Daughter's musical "career" and has been so encouraging to her and to me. I covet your prayers now as he faces serious surgery tomorrow morning.

Update 5/17:

The surgery went very well. Prayers are needed during the recovery time, of course, but the super-scary part is over.
