My cousin, Jennifer, has had a recurrence of her ovarian cancer. When she was diagnosed, the cancer was Stage IIIc, and she had a complete hysterectomy, and lots of lymph nodes removed, as well as 16 weeks of chemo. She has been in remission for a year, but her tumor marker numbers have been going up. She is going in for surgery next week, then will begin chemo and radiation. Please pray for her and for her family. She is 41 years old, and she and her dh have two boys, ages 11 and 8. I am trying to think positively, but it is hard. My heart just breaks thinking about the "worst case scenario," and thinking about how I would feel if I were in her shoes. She is naturally a more positive person than I am, and I pray that she will stay hopeful and encouraged.

I am so sorry to hear this :-(. I am praying for Jennifer, her children and husband. My sister is fighting brain cancer (stage IV) and I have full faith that God can heal her but not that He will.

I just got an email from my aunt, Jennifer's mom. It reads:

"Good news! There were only a couple of small tumors, less than a
centimeter, and they removed a couple of lymph nodes. Depending on
the results of the biopsy, she may not even have to have radiation or
chemotherapy."
