I kind of feel like I'm having a re-run of my last C-section. It looks like my incision is infected and I couldn't get in to see my doctor today. I'm supposed to go in at 9 AM tomorrow. I would really appreciate some prayers right now. (If anything, just for peace of mind, because I am really frustrated.) Last time it took me about 2 months to recover from an infected incision, plus the time it took to get rid of the secondary fungal infections on the skin. I was really hopeful that I could avoid it this time, but it looks as if I have just picked up some really stubborn bacteria.
(Also, two of my kids just came down with colds.)

UPDATE 4/17
Had my doctor's appointment this morning, and it looks as if it's *not* a bacterial infection in the incision but rather a re-run of the fungal infection from last time. The incision -- thankfully! -- is *closed* this time. What a relief! I still have to get rid of this fungal infection, but it's certainly less serious than a bacterial infection. I now have meds and am a little more hopeful. Thank you for your prayers!

Praying for you! Getting over a c-section is bad enough without additional problems. May you have a speedy recovery!

I use this for all sorts of cuts and scrapes and yes for incisions.. Baby Cream
Lots of good oils and herbs that helps with healing AND prevent infection.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Angela! I've had this both c/s, too, so praying for easier recovery. I know the candida complications for treatment of infections is just so agonizing.

Just read your update, Angela! I'm relieved that incision is closed! And I'm praying that you can kick this fungal infection quickly...with no complications!! I remember how much you struggled with that last C incision and all the problems from it!
