I just got this message from one of my sorority sisters. Another one of my Delta Gamma sisters has been diagnosed with cancer. Please add your prayers. It sounds like we need all of the prayers we can muster! Emily is a great person who never said anything bad about anyone. She is a couple years older than me so probably in her late 30's. Thanks and God bless!!!

I didn't think to get the word out to DG's. It's so good to have all of you praying. I'm praying for a miracle. I'm so heartbroken over all of this. It's just so sad. A few more details: Emily's cancer is in her brain, lung, spine, and femur. The tumor behind her eye is the size of a lime and is causing a lot of pain. She has been in terrible pain in her head, cheek and eye for a month. This finally led to the diagnosis this past week. She has had strange symptoms for around 6 months and they kept sending her to different doctors. Her husband Greg is an amazing guy. Nicholas is 6 and the twins are 3 1/2.
Inga and I can keep you all updated here when we find out more. Emily doesn't have facebook and is pretty private, but I know she would feel so loved with dozens of cards in the mail. With love, Jen
