Hi Friends,
I asked for prayers for our great niece, Charlotte, a few months ago when she was born with Downs Syndrome. Could you raise her up in prayer Friday morning, 9am...she is having significant heart issues and they are doing a rather urgent shunt placement in her pulmonary artery. She is currently in PICU waiting for the surgery. I can only imagine what her parents are going through...their first baby....different city from their home....and facing a 1-2 week stay at the hospital after a scary heart surgery. I know they would be most appreciative of any prayers you could offer for them.

UPDATE: Charlotte did great with surgery...the stenosis in her artery was much, much worse than they expected, and we are all forever grateful she was at the hospital for testing when she was....it was only meant as a day thing and turned into an emergency surgery the next morning. Thanks so much for your prayers, it was much appreciated by the parents to know people all over the world are praying for tiny Charlotte. This girl is seriously, seriously cute!!!  I haven’t been able to hold her since she was so fragile, but hopefully soon Auntie D. can hold her!

Praying for them. How difficult! I remember how hard it was having one of our twins in th NICU for only 4 days, I can't imagine how hard it is for longer and with their first precious little one.

I'm a bit confused. Is she having the surgery tomorrow, Friday, or did she have it already? At any rate, we're praying!!

Sorry, Stef, I probably wasn’t clear  She had her surgery last Wednesday 1/23....and she is HOME now!!!! 
Charlotte has had a miraculous recovery in just a week’s time....went from coding one evening, having heart surgery the next day and less than a week later, going home. WOW! So now, we can pray in thanksgiving for blessings and miracles!
