DH is preparing to leave for some training before leaving for the Middle East. We will see him off at the airport tomorrow.    Please pray for a safe trip and a safe speedy return. Also, we could use some prayers for us here at the homefront as the first two weeks are often very, very difficult.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers. It was incredibly difficult saying goodbye yesterday. The children did well until we were having dinner. That's when it hit home that Daddy was not there and won't be for a long time.
