12/5: Sweet baby still had feeding issues and needed a g-tube inserted. Although this was very concerning to the parents (as they're not sure how temporary/permanent this might be) it allowed them to bring her home last week-end and get about the business of living life. They are overjoyed. Thank you for your prayers.
A gal I became acquainted and friends with through our church and homeschool group just welcomed a baby girl this afternoon via c-section. This is baby # 6 and makes the family equal with 3 boys and 3 girls! The baby girl's name is Brooklyn. I don't think they knew of any issues but have just learned the baby has Down syndrome and is being transported to a different hospital for surgery tonight or tomorrow. I don't know any other details but please lift this family up in your prayers and I will update when I know more.

Update 11/15 pm: Brooklyn had one surgery and should be in the hospital at least 7-10 days. Hopefully mom will be able to be released and go see her tomorrow. I'm not sure if there are any other surgeries at this time but that is still a possibility as they were doing more tests. Your continued prayers are felt and they are leaning on their faith to carry them thru this very scary time of what is unknown and lies ahead.
Update 11/16: Please continue and increase prayers. Sweet Brooklyn has yet to have a BM and therefore they cannot feed her and she is losing weight quickly. She is now 2 days old.
