My mom's best friend (since 1st grade!) found out on Friday that she has stage 3 ovarian cancer. She is in surgery right now. Please pray for her and for my mom who has travelled to care for her post-surgery as family is not able to do so.

********** Update 6/7
Lois received word yesterday that she is cancer free!!! The first round of chemo did not eliminate the cancer, so she had to do a second regimen, and it appears to have done the job! Praise God! Thank you for all of the prayers, I know she appreciated them.

She came through surgery well and the surgeon believed he was able to remove the "extensive" cancer from her abdominal cavity. Unfortunately they found it had metastasized to her lungs, so she will begin chemotherapy sometime in the next couple weeks. Continued prayers are appreciated!
