Thanks all for your prayers -- we closed the sale of our house today (WHOOOHOO!) and are now out at my in-laws. We've got relatively cheap tickets to Vienna (after 2 months of searching) and about 50-60 percent packed.
Today, however, we heard Visa laws have recently changed in Austria so Rick can go but family has to get a special visa or something....please continue to pray that we get the visas or some other solution and we're all able to take advantange of these great priced, but non-refundable, tickets which have us leaving Denver on June 14th!

 Yep, that's a possibility
Dh is very sanguine about the whole thing -- if it's God's will all will be fine, if it's not he'll show us something else. The good thing is that it did get us moving (literally AND figuratively).
I'm just all confused becuase I don't know if God is saying, "yes, you will go but there will difficulties along the route" or "no, I have other plans for you -- just be patient"....

And waiting for that answer is so hard!!! Ah, the waiting, the planning for the unknown...
Mary, I can't tell you how many times you and your situation pops into my head during the day. I pray for you all the time.
I look at my books and think about "How can Mary pare down to "essential" cookbooks? And books for school? I'd be going crazy!" I look at my clothes and think "I wonder how much clothes can Mary bring? How do you pack for Austrian winters?" and the kicker is your knitting stuff--how can you limit that? You have lived there before, so it's not so unknown, but travelling overseas has always been a bit nervewracking to me in planning...because it's so unknown.
So long winded just to tell you I continue to pray for you!
