I haven't been around in a while and I know there are lots of new faces around here. But many of you probably remember me. I am back asking for prayers for my son, Charlie. He is 21 and a grunt in the Marines. His unit deployed last week for Afghanistan in the middle of all this craziness.

He hasn't been the easiest kid to raise and is not practicing the faith at this point. As worried as I am about his bodily safety, I am even more worried about the state of his soul should something happen.

Please pray for his physical safety and for his conversion.

I will happily pray for your son and his unit. May I ask your prayers for my friend Matt, who deployed a few weeks ago, and his unit, in return?
