Tonight, one of our priests announced that he was leaving our parish to return to Brazil. He was quite upset, his mother has had a stroke and his father has a detached retina. Please pray that he makes a safe trip home, and that his parents recover. Neither are all that old yet.

He will be dearly missed here. Fr. Elder is a quiet and gentle man, he touched many people's hearts here with his kindness.
