Update at end of post (July 10th)
Please pray for me and baby. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the ups and downs we've had at the end of this pregnancy. Baby is still flopping between breech and transverse, we're now at 4 days overdue, doctor would normally talk induction this coming week, but we can't with her in this position(which is a good thing to me, as long as she turns in time for labor). Yesterday my doctor told me that she may not be here at times during the coming week and a half, and neither will the midwife whom I know and have dealt with. The other doctors who will be on call I don't have any experience with, and are male(which I've never had for OB, and don't prefer), which is unsettling for something so personal as delivering a baby. Please pray for peace of mind, baby to flip in God's perfect timing, and that the doctor and attendants will be the best for all around comfort. Thank you so much!

Pilgrim--If it is any consolation one of my best deliveries was with a male OB. Not being sexist here but honestly sometimes the men are more calm in delivery and can handle large babies better...that being said, trust, trust our Lord and Lady to provide all of the right people for a beautiful, safe delivery!!Blessings on this coming week for you.

Hello Friends! Wanted to update all who've been praying for this intention. Our Sweet Baby Girl, Elenor Marie Therese, was born last Wednesday, the 4th of July. We did unfortunately end up with a c-section, but we are grateful for a healthy baby and Mommy, and accept that God's will ended up being a c-section, and someday we may see His reason or we may not. Ellie weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz., 22 1/2 in. long, with lovely dark hair, sweet chubby cheeks, and a gentle (most of the time) personality thus far. Recovery is going pretty well for me, and we thank you all for your prayers!
Oh, and my usual doctor was there, which was a great comfort, and our favorite nurse who is truly a comfort and blessing was there as well which really helped the day.
Thank you again for all your prayers! I will be posting a little more in Tea and Conversation about how the birth went.

Congrats!!! I hope your recovery goes well. All is in God's plan whether we ever understand it or not. It was obviously God's plan for mommy and baby to be healthy and happy so that is definitely a blessing.
