My aunt just got the call for a long-awaited lung transplant surgery. She is on the way to the hospital now. Prayers appreciated for a successful outcome.

Praying for your aunt Theresa, especially for her body's acceptance of the lung(s), good response to anti-rejection meds (if needed), and overall grace-filled recovery.

I just heard that the surgery went well. Both lungs were replaced and my aunt is in recovery. She has a long road ahead, but praising God that so far all is well.

Just reading this! So happy that she was called up! Praying for her as she recovers from the surgery. Praying that her body accepts the new organs and that she is able to enjoy a whole new (better!) quality of life.

Just wanted to update and thank you all for your prayers. My uncle called to day and said my aunt is making a "miraculous" recovery! She is scheduled to be released tomorrow! The doctors are all stunned at her rapid progress!
My uncle also asked me to thank you all for your prayers. He said it was very much appreciated and they are humbled and overwhelmed at the love and generosity shown them.
