For a long time, God has been leading me towards pro-life work. Specifically, I have felt called to work with post-abortive women in healing their lives and receiving forgiveness from God. I have been dealing with our local Crisis Pregnancy Center in setting up a support group for post-abortive women. As I got further into the process, I was asked to sign a Statement of Faith which states, "We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God." Obviously, as a Catholic, I cannot sign this so now they won't let me work with them. I have contacted Rachel's Vineyard and the nearest chapter is 4 hours away so that really isn't an option for me.

Can you please pray that the Holy Spirit can guide me in this area. I know that God would not call me to a ministry that I cannot do without denying I am Catholic. Thanks, ladies. I appreciate it.

Sometimes this problem can be solved by humbly asking whether you can cross out the world 'only' and then sign the statement.

I did ask and he talked to the people who run the center. They denied my request.      It really makes me sad because I know that we could have helped a lot of people and no one else is willing to take on this ministry in our area. I am sure that God will work everything out for good, but this is just a sad day for me.

I don't know if this will work, but maybe try making your own faith based statement. Remembering what they have in theirs, come up with one that would satisfy their "Faith" belief statement.

I will pray for your guidance and for the Love of God to pour forth through all that you do.
