My husband can't give me all the details due to patient confidentiality, but a baby died at our hospital over night. There was a placental abruption and an emergency c-section. The baby was not breathing and they were able to resuscitate. Unfortunately, the baby died overnight. This is a small community hospital and it was very hard for all the staff today. Please keep the baby and it's family in your prayers as well as all of the medical staff. It is just a terribly sad day.

As of today there have been three infant deaths at our hospital in less than 10 days. I am not sure about the details of the others because of patient confidentiality. Please pray for these families. This is such a loss to our community. We live in a small town and usually only have 1-2 infant deaths per year.
