My husband and I have been doing NFP for the past several months which I am very happy about since I was really upset by our previous methods of birth control. However, I really feel called to have a large family. My husband is slowly opening up to the idea, but I really have doubts that he will ever consent. This month, we took a little bit of a chance when I had just come back from being on retreat.      I knew it was a long shot, but I was just so hoping that we would get pregnant. Well, we definitely aren't so I am just really sad tonight. I appreciate your prayers. God bless.

I totally get what you are praying for, but if you are using NFP, which never prevents life but only arms you with information, your marriage IS open to life..always!!!!     Praying that you and your husband can find peace and God's Will with your family size!
