Please hold my Mom in your prayers. She and my Dad are playing a big part in the care of Dad's mother right now, there are a lot of complications, and some small in-law stuff, and it is all very hard particularly on my Mom right now, especially as her own health is not very good. They are having to spend a good deal of time apart from my teenage brothers as well, which is hard on them all. Please pray for wisdom in all things for Grandma's care, and for their family's needs, and that others will be able to step up to plate and give good and wise care to Grandma to give a little relief to Mom and Dad.

Yes Angie, I wish I could give her a hug. We live 10 hrs. apart, and right now they've determined it's best for us to wait a bit before going to help. So, I have to content myself with prayers, encouragement over he phone, and doing a little online shopping she needs done to help her out.

May God grant her and all the family supernatural graces to be able to physically endure the labor and emotionally experience true charity in this service to your grandmother. May the Holy Spirit fill your mom and dad with wisdom and also raise up people who are able to provide the help and support the family needs at this time.

Just a request for continuation of prayers as those who've been helping only 2 days a week are now saying they are not sure they will even be able/willing to do that any more. It seems like there may be a little mental health issues with a new in law involved in all of this, so that throws an extra difficult twist into it. Meanwhile my brothers are having to spend a lot of time away from Mom and Dad, and as parents you know how this can be okay for a bit, but even teenagers need parental accountability, as well as companionship. My heart just aches for Mom and all that's going on, and as I can do no more than pray and request others prayers, I treasure each and every prayer offered up for my family.

Oh Pilgrim - I've been praying for Servant and for this situation! It is SO stressful juggling families in taking care of a loved one, and I know your Mom has been dealing with Shingles, too. My prayers continue for all of you - your brothers, Mom and Dad, your Grandma, and all involved in helping to take care of Grandma. May Our Lady take this situation under her mantle, and though the cross is heavy, may she make it sweet and tender in the carrying so that there is peace.
