Dear wonderful ladies -- I've asked for so many prayers lately, I thought I'd update all at one time:

  • My sister Anne is still doing therapy, on long-term disability but her progress is quite wonderful considering less than 6 months ago she was unconscious for NINE DAYS!
  • Gr'uncle Bill (my FIL's brother) doesn't need openheart or bypass surgery. Seems he's got tons of calcium build-up on the OUTSIDE of his arteries, but none inside....Doc couldn't believe how clean he was.
  • Nepher is doing well; they're still not sure why he's not retaining benefits of eating -- particuarly anything fibrous seems to pass right through, but he's slowly gaining weight and they've eliminated really bad possibilities
  • we, thanks be to St. Joseph, are closing on our house next Wednesday. This is an old house and the inspector found lots of things wrong --but it isn't going anywhere and our buyers are young and want to fix it up (he's a carpenter) so all is good to go. They're so young and have never bought a house but want to raise a family here.


We could still use some prayers for sanity and stree-less moving over the next 6 weeks or so. We're moving to my in-laws for a month, then a 2-week visit to Denver than off we go....

I'll keep you posted on all events.

Keep the prayers coming -- we can't seem to find flights for less than $1500 each (and times 7 that's a bit much!) and our oven was "taken out" during a bad thunderstorm last night -- yes, 5 days before closing we have to buy a new gas oven!

God's will be done -- but by does He love to throw us curve balls!
