Oliver James arrived Sunday night at 10:20PM. He was 8lbs 5oz, 21 inches. We are both doing well. We were planning to have him at home. My labor progressed very slowly starting around 12AM Sunday, then stopping for about 4-5 hours, then picking up again around 2 or 3pm. Around 7pm I started having some bright
red bleeding. My midwife talked to my backup doctor on the phone and they both agreed it was probably ok. About an hour later, I started passing lots
of clots. We rushed to the hospital with me laying on the back seat with my butt above my head. Scariest ride of my life. We got there, my doctor checked me and said I was 9 cm with a bulging bag. Oliver's heartrate was good the entire time. He broke my water about 10 minutes later and I began pushing not long after. The reason for the bleeding was that my placenta had started to detatch.

We are thanking God for the saftey of both of us and for a healthy little boy!
