Please join us in praying for the 3yo son of one of our moderators, Erin. He fell and has a concussion. He is at the hospital having a cat scan.

We heard from Erin's oldest daughter that Erin's son is ok. He was probably kept overnight at the hospital for observation, but should be released after that. I'm sure Erin is with him and I hope she'll update when she has a chance to sit down and catch her breath!

Thank you for your prayers. Praise be to God ds3 is now fine. Actually our dd18 was babysitting at the time when he decided to walk on the back of the lounge and then he fell onto the timber flooring. Our awesome daughter dealt with it all and I am in awe of her. she rang us and we discussed concussion symptoms, then he started vomiting and she took him in. the ER staff were excellent, but they all had a very scary moment when they couldn't rouse him, he had a team of 7 around his bed, surgeons, paediatrician and nurses. Very scary for our girl to deal with on her own but she kept her calm and totally impressed the entire staff. They took ds for a cat scan, which over an hour later came back in the all clear.
We were an hour away and most of it out of mobile rang, very gut churning driving, knowing he was having a cat scan and we were uncontactable. By the time we arrived the major trauma was over, but they kept him in children's ward overnight for observation. I spent the afternoon with him and he slowly was coming back to his normal active self, Dh stayed the night, and we are picking him up this morning.
It was such a comfort to know you were praying, thank you so much. Praise Be to God.
