Friends, my dh and I are going away for a few days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary (which will officially occur next summer.) Fortunately, my dh has a business trip to a lovely place where we originally visited when we were dating and always wanted to return. Since our 1st honeymoon was sweet and modest, we've always wanted to have another when we could better afford it. So...here it is!
Seeing as I've never left my children for long, I'm eager to ask prayers that our 3 days/nights away will go smoothly for them, especially my 6yo. Please pray for safe travel and that all of this is a blessing!
Praise God for the sacrament of marriage, sacramental grace, and for women friends to share my happy times with  .

Terrific, Angie! Praying for a renewal in the Sacrament of Marriage.....we will celebrate 20 years in December.....haven’t been away from the kids in 16 years....probably time to do that soon.
