A coworker of my dh was killed Monday night- hit while jogging. He leaves behind a family and many sad and stunned friends.
Oh, my goodness- life is such a gift, and we never know how much time we have.
Please pray for the repose of his soul 
UPDATE: Thank you very much for your prayers. The mood is very somber at dh's work. The man was out jogging and was standing at a street corner, waiting to cross. One car ran a light; another swerved to avoid it and flipped, killing my dh's friend.
So many ifs run through your mind at times like these... if he had gone another way, if he had worked late that day, etc.
Truly, we don't know how much time we have. Let us thank God for every moment!

Oh Melinda, those words are so true! We just don't know the time God gives us...praying for his soul and for his poor family and friends..

How devastating! I am praying for this family and for the repose of this man's soul! I wish that I could truly live as if every day might be my last and in awareness and gratitude for the moments I have.
