Her water broke Friday night at 6. We drove through torrential rains, dodging downed trees and power lines. Electricity went out in town ~ including hospital ~ at 7 pm. Generators up and running and hospital power restored at 8:15 pm, just as she was getting in a gown and into bed. It is now 9:50 am Saturday, and she is only dilated to 4. I don't know about her, but I'm tired.

Asking for prayers for safe (and fast) delivery and healthy baby!!

Alivia Ann finally arrived at 1:14 pm on July 2, weighing exactly 7 pounds, 19 inches long. She is a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. We all went home and slept for two days! Thank you so much for all the prayers - they worked!
