Will you kind and generous ladies please offer prayers for my friend's baby? I posted last year about her pregnancy and the baby was diagnosed with Spina Bifida and the mom underwent pre-natal surgery last Summer to hopefully avoid this common condition of water on the brain. The sweet baby girl is now almost 10 months old and developing and growing so well.

They've now determined she does have the water on the brain and needs this brain surgery to relieve that and it will happen on Monday. They are actually doing a somewhat experimental surgery which can cause greater complications but in the long-term should be more beneficial.

Her name is Ruth and she is the youngest of 5 girls. Please pray for her, her parents and the doctors and nurses over-seeing her care. Here's her website if you want to see her sweet, sweet face:
